Mark Sperring studied at Bath Academy of Art and Camberwell College of Art before working as a printer and a bookseller, and later becoming a children's book author. Mark is the author of Dino-Baby, Dino-Mummy (Bloomsbury) and Father Christmas on the Naughty Step (Puffin). He lives in Bristol.
Nicola O'Byrne was born in Swaziland. She studied Illustration at Edinburgh College of Art before moving to London to study for a masters in Printmaking. In 2010, Nicola was Highly Commended in the Macmillan Prize for Children's Book Illustration. She has since worked with Blue Apple Books and Nosy Crow. This is Nicola's second book with Bloomsbury, her first being Two Little Bears (9781408836941).
