Create your own 3D fish before discovering fascinating facts about each species, in this gorgeous gift book from the National Trust!

Press out the pieces and slot them together to create 20 stunningly scaled fish. After finishing your 3D shoal, either hang the gorgeous decorations or press them back into the sturdy board pages and hardback binding to be used again and again.

Then turn to the back of the book to pore over 22 richly illustrated pages with dazzling full colour nature scenes alongside a gently informative text to treasure.

Covering everything from habitats and diets to myths and legends, this is a stylish, joyful introduction to a variety of European fish.

Available now in this fantastic series: Birds of a Feather, Butterfly Skies, and Beneath the Waves.

Lauren Fairgrieve (Author)
Lauren Fairgrieve is a children's book writer and editor who grew up in East Lothian, Scotland, and now lives in North London. She can often be found roaming Hampstead Heath or exploring a new part of the city, and is very proud and grateful to be able to edit and write fascinating children's non-fiction for a living.

Kate Read (Illustrator)
Kate Read is a picture book author and illustrator based in Norfolk. Kate works mainly in collage by painting sheets of paper on which she monoprints and stencils, creating interesting textures before drawing and cutting shapes which become characters. She then draws over the top for definition and, when these images are scanned, she plays with them again digitally. Kate really enjoys observational drawing but it's playing with paint, scissors, and glue that's when she feels her work starts to come alive.
