An educator since 1951, Alfred M. Martin has served as a teacher, principal and superintendent of schools in New Jersey. He has previously written books about Mel Ott, sports history and education. A member of the Society for American Baseball Research, he lives in Parsippany Troy Hills, New Jersey. Alfred T. Martin is a member of the Friends of the Hall of Fame, the Society for American Baseball Research. He is president of Martin Automotive Inc., in Pine Brook, New Jersey.
