Julia Donaldson, the 2011–2013 Children's Laureate, is the multi-award-winning author of many of the world's best-loved picture books. Her books have collectively sold over 17 million copies and been translated into 75 languages. Lucy Richardson is originally from Middlesex, she studied at North Wales School of Art & Design at Glyndwr University, and now lives in Devon with her 4 yr old son and fat tabby cat. After winning an award from Hallmark for her final university show, it didn’t take long for Lucy to establish herself as a much-loved illustrator within children’s books.
