In this book, various numerical methods are discussed in a comprehensive way. It delivers a mixture of theory, examples and MATLAB® practicing exercises to help the students in improving their skills. To understand the MATLAB programming in a friendly style, the examples are solved. The MATLAB codes are mentioned in the end of each topic. Throughout the text, a balance between theory, examples and programming is maintained.

Key Features

  • Methods are explained with examples and codes
  • System of equations has given full consideration
  • Use of MATLAB is learnt for every method

This book is suitable for graduate students in mathematics, computer science and engineering.

Dr. Taimoor Salahuddin teaches in the department of Mathematics, Mirpur University of Science and Technology, Mirpur AJK. He received a Ph.D. degree from QAU, Islamabad in 2016. His journal research interests focus on numerical methods and fluid dynamics. After completing Ph.D. degree, he joined MUST university as an Assistant Professor. He has more than 150 publications on impact factor journals. He received the highest citation award from the university in 2020. His love affair with computing began when his supervisor (Prof. Dr. Malik Muhammad Yousaf) gave him an assignment to implement some problems on MATLAB. Since then, he has published a lot of work related to MATLAB.
