Neil Somerville is a full-time writer and puzzle setter. He has written many bestsellers including puzzle books on Radio 4, The Archers, The Train Lover’s Puzzle Book, Literary Puzzle Book as well as Cat Wisdom: 60 Great Lessons You Can Learn from a Cat and a long running series on Chinese Horoscopes. He also sets puzzles for a newspaper syndicate. Before writing full-time, Neil was a researcher for the BBC for 25 years and mainly based at the BBC Written Archives Centre. He enjoys travel, especially to colder climes, writes haiku and is a member of the Magic Circle. He lives in Berkshire with his wife and has two adult children.
