It’s the yearly baking contest, and Olive the skunk must decide what to make. But there’s too many choices: chocolate cake, peanut butter cookies, cinnamon muffins... How will Olive decide? No matter what, making the right choice will certainly be an adventure! Life can be challenging, and social and emotional skills play a huge role in learning how to cope with those challenges. The My Spectacular Self picture book series uses humorous and relatable stories to draw the reader in. Story-related discussion questions are included to allow caregivers and teachers the opportunity to help readers become more aware of themselves and others, helping each child become their most spectacular self!
Gal Weizman was born in Jerusalem, dreaming of flying above the white stone houses of her neighborhood like Peter Pan. As she grew older and became more acquainted with the laws of gravity, she had to abandon that plan. Instead, she devised a different way to never grow up. She attended Bezalel Academy of Arts and learned to draw. Gal loves to illustrate animals and creatures and to see her creations come to life. Her illustrations are bouncing through games and TV shows, sitting on packaging, and living in various children’s books around the globe.
