Blending lyrical poetry with non-fiction, this beautifully illustrated book celebrates the city of Paris. Readers will be introduced to iconic landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower and Montmartre, as well as hidden corners of the city, including a charming Parisian café and a magical night along the River Seine. This collection includes 18 poems, and each text is paired with a beautifully immersive watercolour scene.

Written by French poet Clementine Beauvais and illustrated by South Korean artist Seula Yi, this book will inspire a love for Paris in readers of all ages.

Clémentine Beauvais is a children's and young adult author and an academic in the field of Children's Literature at the University of York (UK). She is the author, among others, of the Carnegie-nominated In Paris With You (Faber) and Piglettes (Pushkin). Her works have been translated into over 15 languages and have ended up on IBBY Honour and White Raven lists. She is also a translator into French, notably of Jane Austen's Emma, Christina Rossetti's 'Goblin Market', J.K. Rowling's The Ickabog, and of many novels by Sarah Crossan, Elizabeth Acevedo, Louisa Reid and Meg Rosoff.
