Marie Bridge read modern languages at Oxford. She trained first as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist, and later as a psychoanalyst. She is a Training Analyst at the Institute of Psychoanalysis and Honorary Senior Lecturer in Psychoanalytic Studies at the University of Essex.
