From the internationally best-selling storyteller, Vita Murrow, this illustrated treasury brings together a dozen original stories set in some of the last true wildernesses in the world, from the Arctic to the Amazon.
Weaving established mythology with original storytelling, these epic earth tales tell of courage, friendship, and persistence, and explore our finely balanced relationship with Planet Earth.

VITA MURROW is an author, artist and educator. Kirkus magazine described her debut chil-dren’s title Power to the Princess as “brilliant”. She grew up performing in theatre in her home town of Minneapolis, MN, where she developed her love of imaginative play and great story-telling. She went on to direct a regional school literacy program and serve as a teacher in New York City and Seattle, before settling in Massachusetts with her husband and two children.

Nomadic, Romanian-born illustrator AITCH has travelled widely, which she says has inspired her folky style, along with childhood memories, legends and folklore. She lives and works in Berlin, Gernamy.
