When a man cuts down little bird Rosa's tree, she makes herself a new nest at the top of his house and refuses to budge. News of her protest sweeps through the animal kingdom and it inspires other animals to start moving into people's homes in protest too! A funny and heartwarming introduction to an important environmental issue and the power we all have when we work together.
With a degree in English and Psychology, Sheryl Webster worked as a primary school teacher before going on a career break to bring up four children. Somehow she also found time to nurture a passion for writing and published picture books with OUP, Andersen, Little Tiger Press as well as reading schemes with Pearson, HarperCollins and Franklin Watts. Helen Shoesmith graduated from Liverpool John Moores University in 2006 with a degree in Graphic Arts & went on to achieve a Masters in Illustration for Children at the North East Wales School of Art & Design in 2008. Her work has appeared in Women's Weekly magazine, SCOPE's In the Picture project and the Encyclopedia of Writing and Illustrating Children's Books.
