The contributions in this volume reflect the efforts of musicology to understand a hybrid area with a fascinating evolution. Héctor J. Pérez is Associate Professor of Audiovisual Communication and Aesthetics and a member of the Technology and Information Research Team, CALSI, at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.
