Malta International Airport - Author_Our Gateway to the World

The journey that Malta’s sole civil airport made was, at times quite eventful and it was only thanks to the skills and nous of those handling the project along the years that the island can now boast of a gateway to the world that does all of us proud.

Leafing through the pages of this book one can see the social, political and economic history of Malta unfold.

Without going into unnecessary detail, though the main events are backed documents and/or newspaper cuttings either in the chapters themselves or in the annexes, it tells the success story of a project that was crucial and has proved to be so beneficial to Malta.
