Our bestselling global board book series, now in paperback with extended endmatter for older kids!

Magandang umaga! Spend a day in the Philippines riding the unicorn jeepney, visiting the sari-sari, enjoying sweet halo-halo, and dancing under the stars. Even learn words in Tagalog with pronunciation guides throughout the story.
  • Part of the Barefoot Books Our World series
  • Written by Filipino author and illustrator Zewlan Moor and Happy Garaje
  • Extended endmatter offers a further glimpse into life in the Philippines
Zewlan Moor writes playful books for today’s savvy kids. She has a Filipino father and Anglo-Australian mother and lives with her young family on the land of the Yugambeh people at the Gold Coast, Australia. Zewlan loves to read, practise medicine and combine the two through bibliotherapy.

Johanna Velasco and Mark Deutsch (Happy Garaje) are artists from Cebu City, Philippines. They are inspired by everyday people, hopes, dreams, and the in-between places where things are not quite what they seem. They have a daughter called Summer, named after the season with many happy memories of sunny days and the sea.
