David Melling's lively, fun illustrations bring a host of favourite nursery rhymes to life in two beautiful collections. Over the Moon offers a medley of classic nursery rhymes including Hey Diddle, Diddle; Hickory, Dickory Dock, and Little Miss Muffet.
David Melling became a freelance illustrator in 1986, drawing for magazines and advertising agencies. In 1993 he illustrated his first children's book. In 2002, he wrote and illustrated his own picture book, The Kiss That Missed, which was shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Award. To date he has illustrated over 60 books, writing around 15 of them. He lives near Oxford with his Croatian wife and their two children.
