She is a past captain of Windlasses sailing club and past president of the Florida Outdoor Writers Association.Lars Andersenis a lead instructor for the Florida Master Naturalist Program and full-time river guide for Adventure Outpost in Fort White, Florida. He is the author of Paynes Prairie, The Great Savanna: A History and Guide, as well as other guides to the Florida outdoors.
