Florin Kindler lost her parents to one of Ustalav’s most notorious hauntings—they perished, as so many have, after a visit from the Black Coach of Bastardhall. Arguably the most notorious of all the haunted castles of the Inner Sea region, Bastardhall’s mysteries have brought Florin and her adventuring companions in search of answers to the centuries-long curse that blights the ruins, but the castle has other plans than simply giving up what it hides, as those who dare to enter its haunted halls are doomed to vanish forever. Will your PCs be able to break the curse of Bastardhall and escape, or are they fated to become the latest in a long line of vanishings into one of Golarion’s most infamous ruins?
The Bastion of Blasphemies Adventure Path is a complete Pathfinder campaign by Pathfinder co-creator James Jacobs, with adventures ranging from level 5 to 13, making it the perfect follow-up for players who have finished the Troubles in Grayce adventure anthology.
James Jacobs has been with Pathfinder publisher Paizo for more than 20 years, having served multiple roles as an editor and manager during those decades. He’s currently the narrative creative director for the Pathfinder Roleplaying game, and has contributed to hundreds of roleplaying games ranging from Pathfinder to Starfinder to Dungeons & Dragons and beyond, including several award-winning roleplaying game adventures, such as the very first Pathfinder Adventure Path installment, “Burnt Offerings,” back in 2007. He grew up in the small town of Point Arena, California, attended UC Davis where he studied creative writing with an emphasis on medieval history, and then moved north to Washington state. He lives in Redmond, Washington, and hopes, some day, to see Bigfoot in the wild.
