He is also an established fiction writer whose work has appeared in Suspense Magazine, Mystery Tribune, Black Cat Mystery Magazine, Sundial Magazine, Best New England Crime Stories and several other publications. He was also the runner-up in the 2016 Milwaukee Paranormal Conference National Horror Fiction Contest, and has earned an Honorable Mention Award in the prestigious L. Ron Hubbard Writers of the Future science fiction competition.
