The Perfect Pet! is an illustrated guide designed to learn about pets and find the one that best suits each little reader. The book explores not only the most family-friendly dog and cat breeds but also small rodents, birds, reptiles, and even aquatic animals from all over the world. Each chapter provides practical information, fun facts, and helpful tips to understand the personality, needs, and how to take care of each pet, helping young readers make an informed and responsible choice.

Ages 6 plus.

Rachel Foo is a Malaysian illustrator. She graduated with honors in Illustration from Curtin University in Australia and has worked as a concept artist and visual developer in indie game design studios in Melbourne. After returning to Malaysia, she became a full-time illustrator, drawing inspiration from nature and the beauty of everyday life. In her free time, she enjoys rainforest hikes, urban skating, and sharing her passion for art with children.

Altea Villa has a doctor of modern history degree in social history. Since 2018, she has been a content writer for children’s magazines and books, particularly focused on divulgation and “edutainment.”
