Dr. Poonam has been a Gold Medalist in the field of Psychology, qualified UGC-NET and also been awarded Doctorate in Organisational Behaviour from University of Delhi. She endures a work experience of 16 years She has published one text book and 3 Edited books and over 40 articles/ research papers in national and international journals of repute; she has been the Editor and Reviewer in reputed journals (Inderscience and Emerald reputed journals). She has also been invited as session chair/ expert in national and international conferences.

Sonam Choiden is the President of Gedu College of Business Studies, Royal University of Bhutan. She is the first and only female president in the Royal University of Bhutan currently serving as the member of the University Council as well as the University Academic Board. Sonam also serves as an Executive Board Director for Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia (AMDISA); Board Director for Construction Development Corporation Ltd; Chairperson for Subject committee (Accountancy & Commerce) for the Royal Education Council; Board Audit Committee member for CDCL.
