Storytellers Lindsey Gibb & C.A. Hope bring together stories from Perthshire, the heart of Scotland, with its bleak moors and majestic mountains, rushing rivers and great woodlands. In this treasure trove of tales you will meet witches and faeries, black dogs and dragons, the Cailleach and those mysterious painted people, the Picts – all as fantastical and powerful as the landscape they inhabit. Retold in an engaging style, and richly illustrated with unique line drawings, these humorous, clever and enchanting folk tales are sure to be enjoyed and shared time and again.

LINDSEY GIBB is a professional storyteller with over ten years’ experience who loves discovering and telling stories about Scotland. She has performed at the Edinburgh International Storytelling Festival and the Enchanted Forest, as well as creating and delivering workshops for a variety of audiences. Her love of history and nature is reflected in her stories and in her work in Environmental Education and Wildlife and Species Protection. C.A. HOPE grew up in Scotland surrounded by books and history and where reading and writing were encouraged. There is never a time when she is not absorbed in a writing project. Her enthusiasm for history drives her to bring the past alive by engaging and entertaining readers.
