The Philosopher's Stone is one of Israel Regardie's masterpieces. In it he analyzed three important alchemical treatises from the 17th century, explaining them symbolically, psychologically, and magically. Although the information is still vital to occultists, the presentation was dated. Now, famed occultists Chic and Sandra Tabatha Cicero bring the information up to date. Israel Regardie studied with famous occultist Aleister Crowley and joined the Order of the Golden Dawn, Stella Matutina Temple, in 1934. His writings contributed to the foundation of modern Western occultism.
