He is a proud Shedworker. He founded the Shedworking website in 2006 and his book based on this project, Shedworking: The Alternative Workplace Revolution, was published in 2010. He has also profiled sheds for The i newspaper and in 2019 co-authored The Haynes Shed Manual.
