About Aristotle
Aristotle (born 384 BC) was a philosopher, pupil of Plato and author of numerous works including his Poetics, one of the most influential tracts in world theatre. Kenneth McLeish was the most widely respected and prolific translator of drama in Britain and, until his early death in 1997, edited the NHB Drama Classics series.
