This beautiful pocket-sized hardback gift book contains carefully curated poetic poisons compiled by Deborah Alma, the founder of the Poetry Pharmacy. The Poetry Poisons are for when sweetness fails, offering a controlled dose of the less virtuous emotions, to be taken slowly and without apology.

For the Satisfaction of Deep Hurt; For Wrongs, Real or Imagined; For the Nursing of Grievances; For Fantasies of Redress and Reckoning; to Stoke the Fires of Righteous Fury. Best Served Cold.

Poetry Poison: Revenge offers a potent and unapologetic dose of literary vengeance, featuring powerful verses of curses, ill-will, and retribution. Includes poems from Shakespeare, John Donne and Christina Rossetti.
