About Deborah Lock

Deborah Lock has been writing and editing children'snon-fiction fiction and educational titles for more than 20 years. Sheis dedicated to developing products that engage and inspire children instil a love of reading and lifelong learning and share the Christian faith. She is a licensed lay minister at her local parish church leadingworship and actively involved with children and youth work and enjoyssinging drama and dance (which comes in very useful when co-ordinatingthe children-led Nativity service each year). Helen Cann wanted to be an illustrator since she wasa small girl - now she is an award-winning illustratorwho has exhibited around the world and works out of a studio in seasideBrighton. Her work is mainly hand produced using watercolour collage and graphite and has been used in picture books anthologies and chapterbooks.
