Rose has won the pony prize of a lifetime – but how will the stables compare to the spotlight for her prima donna pony? A riotous ride from the author of Pony on the Twelfth Floor.

Rose loves horses – from a distance. She’s always found them a bit scary up close. When she wins a pony in a competition, she has to face her fears and learn to ride. But this is no ordinary pony: Maltie Delight is a bona fide superstar, and he knows it. How will this selfie-loving prima donna ever settle for shy Rose as his owner? Can a Wild West riding camp help them learn to live together – or will it be a diva disaster? A hilarious illustrated tale of friendship and self-belief, from the author of Pony on the Twelfth Floor.

Polly Faber is the author of the Mango & Bambang series and Pony on the Twelfth Floor. She is also a children’s book blogger and volunteer reading helper through the charity Beanstalk. With her family, she looks after her very own tiny free library outside their house in North London.

Sarah Jennings is originally from North London. She studied Illustration at the University of Wolverhampton, graduating in 2013. Her style is loose, humorous and textured, and she loves drawing, painting and creating textures to use in her artwork. Sarah is based in South London, where she works from her home studio.
