Explore the seductive story of the unique artist that was Prince through this stunning collection of rarely seen items and photographs.

Prince: A Portrait of the Artist in Memories & Memorabilia is a beautifully illustrated biography of a musician of unparalleled talent. Featuring a foreword by Susan Rogers, the fascinating story of Prince and his music is told here through beautiful photographs, exclusive interviews and rare items of facsimile memorabilia, documents, posters, and concert tickets that are meticulously reproduced on the page.

Author and Prince expert Paul Sexton brings the story to life through a compelling narrative, touching on the various elements that made Prince such a singular musical force. These words, including original interview material from Prince's friends and collaborators, along with photographs of custom-built guitars, beautifully crafted clothing and rare personalised recordings, combine to create an exceptional portrait – one which no fan of the artist should be without.

Paul Sexton is an author, journalist and broadcaster who has covered The Rolling Stones, and interviewed all of the band extensively, for some 30 years. He started writing about music for the weekly pop paper Record Mirror while still a teenager in 1977, and his work has appeared in all of the quality UK press, most notably The Sunday Times and The Times, as well as in Billboard magazine and countless documentaries and shows for BBC Radio 2. His authorised biography of Rolling Stones drummer Charlie Watts, Charlie's Good Tonight, was published in 2022. He lives in south London.
