Matheus Macedo is an artist and art instructor born in Brasilia, Brazil. He started drawing as a child and never stopped. While earning a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from his hometown university and an exchange period at the Politecnico di Torino in Italy, his interest in drawing remained. He took a series of in-person and online courses and workshops with world-class artists, falling in love with realism after experimenting with different materials and styles. He began giving private drawing lessons and would soon promote his work on social media. As interest in his work grew, he was repeatedly asked about his drawing process until he decided to share his secrets by recording online courses, reaching thousands of students from all over the world. Macedo was one of the winners of the international American Art Awards in 2022 and today he dedicates his time to sharing his technique for creating works in black and white and color.
