The artist's first comprehensive monograph entitled Bingfeng is being published to coincide with the exhibition at Kunstmuseum Thun. With a foreword by Helen Hirsch and essays by Claudia Jolles, Patricia Bieder, Sophia Remer, Peter Stohler, Chiara Ottavi and texts by the artist.

Rebekka Steiger (*1993, Zurich) is a Swiss artist who works in Lucerne and Beijing. The focus of her work is her painting, in which she can indulge in the pleasure of experimentation with an uncertain outcome. Steiger's works are characterized by a captivating, intense visual language in which the familiar mixes with the unknown.
