The unifying theme of contributions gathered in this book is identity, which is an especially topical issue in contemporary society, culture, and art. The monograph presents many of the diverse ways of reflecting on identity, along with the broad interdisciplinary impact of this concept. The authors employ the latest theoretical concepts found in cultural and social landscapes and apply them to specific areas of their scientific interest.
