Gabi Blum creates walk-in, room-filling installations that translate images from our collective pop-culture memory into real, three-dimensional scenes. The monograph The Rise and the Fall (of the Great) looks back on 15 years of creative work, placing it in an art historical and societal context, and illuminates the challenges of artistic existence beyond commercial structures.
