In Extraordinary Interiors In Colour, self-confessed colour addicts Jane Rockett and Lucy St George follow on from their best-selling first book by tackling the topic of choosing colour for the home.
Such is their passion for colour that Jane and Lucy launched the Rockett St George paint range in August 2018 sophisticated, earthy shades that work perfectly together. Starting at the beginning, Jane and Lucy investigate colour theory before plunging into the history of colour and how it affects our emotions. A final chapter explores inventive ways to decorate with colour, from bold blocking to brave use of contrasting hues. Friends Lucy St George and Jane Rockett came up with the idea for Rockett St George while on holiday together. Drawing on Jane’s experience in marketing and PR and Lucy’s background in retail, their aim was to source and sell quirky, glamorous and unusual products that stand out from the crowd. Ten years on, Rockett St George's collections are a firm favourite of the press and interior decorators as well as a loyal and ever-expanding customer base. In recent years, they have launched pop-up collections at Liberty of London and Harvey Nichols Knightsbridge as well as their own paint range with Craig & Rose.
