Dave Singleton was born in Littlestone-on-Sea in a row of cottages converted from the former Golf Clubhouse. He was baptised at the Church of St Nicholas and attended New Romney C of E School before his family moved to London. His vast collection of postcards and memorabilia on which this book is based reflects a life-long love of Romney Marsh.
