It's a drizzly, damp, dull Sunday.
Nothing to do or see.
I'm feeling BORED. I need someone
To come and play with me.
And that's just the first of many feelings a young boy experiences on this day. From being GLAD about his friends eventually coming over to play, to getting MAD when little sister Kate gets in the way, our main character feels a whole spectrum of emotions over the course of one day!
John Micklos Jr. is the author of more than sixty children's books. He's written picture books, poetry books, and nonfiction books spanning a variety of topics and age ranges. His previous Penguin books, One Leaf, Two Leaves, Count with Me! and Raindrops to Rainbow, were both selections in Dolly Parton's Imagination Library.
