Benjamin R. Foster is Laffan Professor of Assyriology and Babylonian Literature at Yale University. He is author of Before the Muses (CDL, 1993), The Epic of Gilgamesh (W.W. Norton, 2019), Akkadian Literature of the Late Period (Ugarit-Verlag, 2007), among many others.
