What the historian Sir John Dunlop, writing in 1964, called 'The Pleasant Town of Sevenoaks' has come a long way since it was established as a small market town in Saxon times. Russell Harper is a commercial photographer who has always had a keen interest in local history. He has lived in Sevenoaks since 1997, and now lives close to the centre of the town with his wife and two sons. He is a member of The Sevenoaks Society.
