Katie Scorah is a secondary school teacher and lives in the North East of England with her husband Ainsley, their daughter Effy, and their black rescue cat Bellatrix. After studying English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford, Katie qualified as an English teacher. Despite being partially sighted, Katie has always been determined that this would never hold her back. She feels particularly passionate about literacy and encouraging a real love of reading in young people.
