When bloodlines whisper and spirits linger, the past won't stay buried...

Struggling with her marriage and feeling disconnected from her Malay roots, a woman receives a letter, informing her of an inheritance - a house from a relative she has never met.

Seizing the chance to escape her life in England and reconnect with her mother's heritage, she impulsively travels to Malaysia.

But little does she know that she will soon be confronted with both spiritual and real-world horrors, forcing her to reconcile her identity and embrace the legacy that has been thrust upon her.

Putri Soraya was born in Kuala Lumpur to a Malay mother and an English father. During her Creative Writing and English Literature Course at University of Cambridge, she realised she always gravitated towards the macabre, spiritual, sinister, and horror. She decided to start writing her own novel, inspired by the stories her grandparents had told her during her childhood. She now lives in the UK with her husband.
