Gerd-Bodo von Carlsburg, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. mult., is Professor of Education at the Heidelberg University of Education. He has published several books on general education, schooling, teacher training, teaching profession and history of education. He received honorary doctorates from the Academy of Educational Sciences of Vytautas Magnus University (Lithuania) and at the University of Tallinn (Estonia).
