The 1990s was a period that saw the last vestiges of old company liveries and fleet names and also saw the slow (at first) dawning of the era of the low-floor bus. In this fascinating look at the bus scene of those years in Kent, south Essex, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire, from St Albans to the Isle of Wight and from Reading to Folkestone, and many places in between, David Moth presents a terrific selection of previously unpublished images, all taken by the author of buses in operation in the South East of England, excluding London, during the 1990s.
David Moth is a keen photographer of many subjects, but mainly of buses and trains. This interest in buses and railways has led him to photograph both subjects throughout Britain. Other interests include Real Ale, science fiction novels, football and astronomy (particularly planets, exoplanets and Kuiper belt objects.) He is also very keen on progressive rock, old and new.
