Which moon has icy water fountains? What does space smell like? What rubbish have astronauts left on the Moon?
In Star, Moon, Zoom, meet some kids and their brainy dog, Charlie. They’re here to help you find out about our big, beautiful and seriously strange universe.
If you could blast off into space, where would you visit? Discover the weird weather on the planets in our solar system, what it’s like to live on a space station, and how space telescopes can see stars formed near the beginning of time! This brilliantly funny, fact-filled book is full of amazing space fun, such as:
- What is a comet’s tail made from?
- Does the SunBurp?
- What happens when you crash a spacecraft into an asteroid?
This playful, energetic non-fiction series (A Book Full of...) from Moira Butterfield looks at familiar questions from children about the world around them, and with the help of child characters and their clever dog, they discover the answers they need. Star, Moon, Zoom answers all the big questions and helps children become space experts!
Ro Ledesma, was born in Galicia, in northern Spain. After graduating with a degree in Advertising from Vigo’s University, she worked as an art director in the advertising industry. In 2015, Ro decided to make a change and moved to Barcelona, and became a freelance illustrator. Since then, she has illustrated commercials, magazines, and picture and educational books for clients all over the world. Ro mostly works digitally and loves drawing for children’s books. They allow her to create humorous characters, play with bright colours, and challenge her to find the best interpretation of the text. When she is not working you can find Ro riding her bike or drinking tons of coffee.
