Jana Sedlackova is a children's book author who graduated from the School of Textile Design and Management in Liberec, Czech Republic. In her free time, she enjoys singing in choirs and decorating gingerbread during Christmas time. Her work is driven by the belief that everyone is searching for the perfect fairytale. She hails from Brno, Czech Republic.
Malgorzata Detner is a Poland-based illustrator born in 1989 who has loved drawing since a young age, influenced by her mother's paintings. She followed a career in costume design, focusing on Victorian dresses, but returned to traditional painting and digital illustration after her daughter's birth. She draws vibrantly colored, mysterious, fantastic worlds, animals, and creatures influenced by old animation. She incorporates hand-painted textures in her digital art and loves creating illustrations that remind her of childhood memories. In her free time, she makes needle-felt toys and watches her favorite movies, including Studio Ghibli's Totoro. She lives with her family and pets in Warsaw.
