The clock plays a significant part in our understanding of temporality, but while it simplifies, regulates and coordinates, it fails to reflect and communicate the more experiential dimensions of time. Helen Powell is Senior Lecturer in in the School of Arts and Digital Industries at the University of East London. She has also worked in the advertising industry and adopts an interdisciplinary approach in her teaching, writing and research.
