Sungsu Heaven is an illustrator and storyteller. She creates gentle, narrative-driven images inspired by everyday family life, communities and the natural world around us. Alongside picture books, she has worked in animation as a concept artist and storyboard artist, developing visual stories through images and movement. She lives in Yorkshire with her family, raising two young daughters and a much-loved cat. Her days are busy – shared between drawing, parenting, tending overgrown allotments and baking sourdough bread whenever time allows. A Big Day In is her first picture book with HarperCollins.
