 Mitrofan Vasilyevich Lodyzhensky (1852–1917) was a Russian writer and religious philosopher. After a respected career in imperial administration, he turned to writing. His main work, the Mystical Trilogy (Superconsciousness, Light Invisible, and Dark Power), examines ways to open the gates of spiritual perception, the dangers of false enlightenment, and the path to true inner knowledge. Written during a period of great interest in occultism and esotericism, the trilogy examines and criticizes Western occultism, yoga, and theosophy, and highlights the value of Orthodox Christian mysticism. Lodyzhensky’s works were widely read during his life and influenced both his peers and later thinkers in mystical and philosophical literature. This made him a unique and lasting figure in Russian religious thought.

Yury Pankratov, a native of Russia, earned his PhD in Computer Science before developing an interest in Western esotericism. His journey into the occult began in 2012, inspired by the writings of John Michael Greer, who was then the Grand Archdruid of the Ancient Order of Druids in America. This led Yury to study ceremonial magic, particularly the Golden Dawn tradition, as well as Hermetic sciences like astrology and alchemy. In 2015, Yury relocated to the United States, where he now lives with his wife, Anastasia.
