Logan Macx is rumoured to be an ex-spy formerly with the British Secret Intelligence Service, specialising in cyber communications and unexplained events. His whereabouts are unknown at this time but he is in periodic communication with the ghost writers of this series – Edward Docx and Matthew Plampin.

Edward Docx is a bestselling novelist and journalist, whose second novel, Self Help, won The Geoffrey Faber Prize and was longlisted for the Man Booker Prize. His novels are translated and published all over the world. As a journalist, he has been listed for the Orwell Prize several times and he has written for all the major magazines and newspapers – most frequently the Guardian and the New Statesman.
