Widely published, Dr. Walters has acted as a consultant for several agencies; is a frequent speaker to university, community, and medical groups; and has received national and international awards for his work integrating research and practice.

John S. Baer, PhD, is Research Associate Professor of Psychology, University of Washington in Seattle, and Associate Director for Training and Education, Center of Excellence for Substance Abuse Treatment and Education, VA Puget Sound Health Care System.
