This book provides practical help and guidance for non-native English-speaking higher education lecturers faced with the need to deliver lectures and seminars in English. Carmen Sancho Guinda is Senior Lecturer in Academic and Professional Communication at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain. She has edited Engagement in Professional Genres (2019), Essential Competencies for English-medium University Teaching (with Ruth Breeze, 2017), Narratives in Academic and Professional Genres (with Maurizio Gotti, 2013) and Stance and Voice in Written Academic Genres (with Ken Hyland, 2012).
