With a foreword by Katherine Webber, author of the Twin Crowns series.

‘Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows.’

Rediscover Shakespeare’s tale of exile and forgiveness.

What goes around, comes around.

Prospero, the usurped Duke of Milan, was doomed to live out his life on a small island with his daughter, Miranda, and his magical servants Ariel and Caliban. Until a shipwreck lands his usurping brother on the island, along with King Alonso and his son Ferdinand.

Prospero vows to use his magic to extract his revenge, but can his daughter’s love change all their fates?

The Tempest is Shakespeare’s iconic tale of trickery and true love.

William Shakespeare was born to John Shakespeare and Mary Arden in late April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. He wrote about 38 plays (the precise number is uncertain), many of which are regarded as the most exceptional works of drama ever produced, including Romeo and Juliet (1595), Henry V (1599), Hamlet (1601), Othello (1604), King Lear (1606) and Macbeth (1606), as well as a collection of 154 sonnets, which number among the most profound and influential love poetry in English. Shakespeare died in Stratford in 1616.
